Hunters

Hunters own their calls.

On X and Telegram, a call is a post. On Blocnet it is a gem one hunter owns, from the first update to claim day, with a record everyone can check.

Ownership

One gem, one hunter.

How a gem gets onto Blocnet, and who answers for it.

  • One owner per gem

Every gem on Blocnet has one hunter who owns it and posts its updates. Nobody to pass the blame to.

  • Live in one sitting

A hunter posts a gem with its first update and it goes live at once. The team reviews new gems after they go up, and hides or removes what doesn’t belong.

  • Blocs suggest gems too

Suggest a project on the board and vote on others. A hunter claims a suggestion for 48 hours and posts it.

  • Hand-picked hunters

Hunters apply and are chosen one by one. The role is earned, not bought.

Reliability

A record you can check.

Hunters are scored on keeping their gems current, not on followers.

Coverage
The share of a hunter’s gems updated in the last 14 days. A gem is due after 10 quiet days and quiet after 14.
Cadence
How often they post on the same gem: the typical number of days between updates, over the last 90 days.
Response
Whether they answer Blocs’ asks with an update within 7 days. At 50 Blocs waiting, moderators step in to reassign the gem.

Accountability

Good calls pay. Bad ones cost.

What a hunter earns, and what they answer for.

  • Tips when a gem pays

Blocs tip the hunter who found the gem and kept them informed, from the in-app wallet.

  • Reports and moderation

Blocs report updates that mislead. Moderators can warn, mute or restrict, with the reason recorded and a right to appeal.

  • Standing in public

Coverage, cadence and standing sit on every gem page, next to the hunter’s name.
