Account

Delete your account.

You can delete your Blocnet account and its personal data at any time, from the app or by email. Deletion is permanent.

In the app

  1. Open the Blocnet app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab and tap Settings.
  3. Under Privacy & security, tap Delete account.
  4. Read what is removed and what is kept, type DELETE, then tap Delete my account.

Deletion happens straight away and signs you out. If you only want a break, choose Deactivate account instead: it hides your profile and keeps your data so you can come back.

Before you delete

  • Withdraw your full wallet balance. Deletion is refused while your wallet holds funds, so nothing is lost.
  • Let any withdrawal in progress finish. A pending withdrawal also blocks deletion.
  • If you manage projects as an admin, ask for them to be handed over first.

No access to the app?

Email blocnetapp@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Blocnet account" and your username. We confirm the request is yours, then delete the account within 30 days and reply when it is done.

Profile
Display name, username, photo and bio
Sign-in
Your email address and login
Social
Projects and members you follow, blocks
Activity
Bookmarks, likes and reactions
Notifications
Inbox, preferences and push device tokens
Identity
KYC name, country and document details
Access
Hunter, moderator and admin roles

What is kept

Posts and comments
Stay in place, shown as "Deleted member"
Financial records
Wallet, tip and mining history, kept as long as the law requires
On-chain transactions
Public on the blockchain and cannot be erased by anyone
Security logs
A record that the account was deleted, and logs kept up to 90 days

Kept records are tied to an anonymised account, not to your name or email. Copies of deleted data in encrypted backups are overwritten as those backups rotate.
