The BNP economy
30M BNP. Ever.
A hard cap, an hourly pool, and a halving every year for 8 years. Every number is public, and this page reads them live.

The rules
Scarce on purpose.
Three rules fix the supply before anyone mines a point.
30M
A hard cap
Only 30,000,000 BNP can ever be mined. No top-ups, no exceptions.
1h
An hourly pool
Every hour the network releases a fixed pool. Everyone mining shares it by mining power, with a per-Bloc limit so nobody drains a quiet hour.
8×
A yearly halving
Every 365 days the pool halves. After 8 eras, mining ends.
The hourly pool
How one hour pays.
Every hour the network releases a fixed amount of BNP. Blocs with a running cycle share it by mining power. It’s Bitcoin’s rule with a safety limit for a small network.
Your BNP for one hour
The smaller of
rate limit × your power
or
hourly pool × your power ÷ network power
The daily loop stays the same: start a cycle, come back, claim. Only the amount changes.
- Rate limit
- The most one unit (1.0×) of power can earn in an hour. 2 BNP in Era 1, halving each era. It stops a tiny network from handing a few people the whole pool.
- Hourly pool
- The era’s BNP spread over its hours. Once enough people mine, this is the limit, and everyone’s share shrinks as the network grows. That is real scarcity.
- Network power
- The power of every Bloc with a running cycle that hour, added up. The app shows it live.
- Never over the cap
- Pool that isn’t earned is never created. It stays in the Mining Reserve, so supply can only come in under 30M, never over.
Halving
Half as much, every year.
Each era releases half of what’s left, and the hourly rate limit halves with it. Early Blocs mine the most.
| Era | BNP a day | Per hour at 1.0× | Mined by end |
|---|---|---|---|
| Era 1 · year 1now | 41,051 | 2 | 50.05% |
| Era 2 · year 2 | 20,525 | 1 | 75.02% |
| Era 3 · year 3 | 10,263 | 0.5 | 87.51% |
| Era 4 · year 4 | 5,131 | 0.25 | 93.75% |
| Era 5 · year 5 | 2,566 | 0.125 | 96.87% |
| Era 6 · year 6 | 1,283 | 0.062 | 98.43% |
| Era 7 · year 7 | 641 | 0.031 | 99.21% |
| Era 8 · year 8 | 321 | 0.015 | 99.6% |
After Era 8 mining ends; whatever is left, with the Mining Reserve, goes to Community rewards. The schedule runs by date, not headcount, so growth never punishes anyone.
What a Bloc earns
More miners, smaller slices.
BNP a day in Era 1, by how many people mine and how much power you bring.
| Daily miners | New member, 1.0× | Steady member, 2.5× | Top effort, 4.0× |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | 48 BNP | 120 BNP | 192 BNP |
| 500 | 48 BNP | 120 BNP | 192 BNP |
| 1,000 | 25.7 BNP | 64.2 BNP | 102.7 BNP |
| 5,000 | 5.1 BNP | 12.8 BNP | 20.6 BNP |
| 10,000 | 2.6 BNP | 6.4 BNP | 10.3 BNP |
| 100,000 | 0.26 BNP | 0.64 BNP | 1.03 BNP |
A simulation of the formula with an average network power of 1.6×. Below about 535 daily miners everyone earns their rate limit; above it the pool binds. At 10,000 miners a day of mining pays about what 30 minutes did at launch, and each era halves these figures again.
In and out
Where supply comes from, and goes.
Balances from before the schedule count toward the cap, and burns take BNP out for good.
Genesis
- BNP mined before the new economy is kept in full, labelled Genesis, and counted against the 30M cap.
- Era pools come from what is left: Era 1 = half of (30M − Genesis), so the cap holds whatever was mined.
- Early miners get the Genesis Miner badge and an Epic hash card.
Burns
- Every BNP spent on a hash card is burned.
- The fee on BNP tips is burned instead of kept.
- Burned BNP never converts; the matching BNT is burned on-chain at launch. A public Burned counter sits next to Mined.
Commit
- Locked BNP can’t be tipped or moved until the lock ends, and there is no early exit.
- It comes back in full. The reward is the power, and it takes BNP out of circulation meanwhile.

BNP → BNT
One for one.
Conversion unlocks in stages, so launch day is not one big sell-off.
- 1 BNP converts to 1 BNT. The mining cap and the mining bucket are the same number, so the promise always balances.
- Verified members only: the wallet’s KYC and one account per person. Unverified balances wait as BNP.
- 25% unlocks at launch, then the rest in equal monthly parts over 9 months.
- Committed BNP converts when its lock ends. Burned BNP never converts.
- BNP still unverified 12 months after launch returns to the Mining Reserve.
- Mining carries on in BNP through the eras after launch, converting every month for verified members.
- Mainnet BNT is deployed fresh with a burn function, and team, backer and ecosystem tokens sit in on-chain vesting anyone can check on BscScan.
The BNT contract address is published at mainnet launch. Until then, any "BNT" you see trading isn't ours. No price or listing date is set.

BNP becomes BNT
1 BNP = 1 BNT for verified members when BNT launches on BNB Smart Chain. Final terms at mainnet.

Tip your hunter
BNT is what members tip with, sent to the hunter whose gem paid off.
Why this model
We fixed the total first.
Bitcoin, Core and Pi all fixed the supply and let rules divide it. Here is what we took, and what we avoided.
Bitcoin
21M, fixed in code
- How rewards split
- Your hash power ÷ network hash power
- What made it rare
- Reward halves about every 4 years, on a public countdown
- What Blocnet takes
- Fixed pool, shared by power, halving countdown
Core
2.1B CORE
- How rewards split
- Block rewards shared by app miners; power from quests and hash cards
- What made it rare
- Hash cards on a slowing schedule; KYC before conversion
- What Blocnet takes
- Hash cards as earned power; verification first
Pi Network
100B, 65B for mining
- How rewards split
- Base rate × bonuses (circle, team, lock-up)
- What made it rare
- Halved at member milestones; KYC before mainnet
- What Blocnet takes
- Lock-up bonus (Commit); a halving you can see coming
Pi halved by headcount, so late joiners felt shut out, and Core never fully published its rules. Blocnet halves by date, not by headcount, and publishes every number.
